,I have an old Melitta Caffeo bar that won't vent. Since the tank valve was calcified, I had to take it apart and descale it. Afterwards it has to be vented of course. The pump runs, water comes out, but when it stops it should normally do a rinse and switch to standby. She doesn't do that anymore. I've turned it off and tried again several times, but it never gets any further at that point. I suppose one of the sensors is broken because I had the same problem two weeks ago when the tank was empty. But then the machine started again after 3 attempts.
Anybody got any ideas?
