This is hard to recommend to someone what tastes best to me.
And especially coffee is a stimulant where, in my opinion, personal taste and drinking habits are very important.
It makes a difference how you drink the coffee, whether black, with sugar and/or milk or how it is prepared.
I can only advise you to look for some varieties in the local offer and try them out.
Large soup markets offer not only the classics ( Jabobs,. Tchibo, etc. ), but also "better" varieties.
The Real here at our place has its own small roasting shop, where there are now 14 varieties from its own on-site roasting.
And anyone who wants to drink good coffee and is willing to pay for it, should look for small roasters in the area. In big cities there are now very often.
Go there then times, look at the offer and get advice. They can give you good tips on which of these varieties is more suitable for your own drinking habits.
Most of them also offer tasting packages with some of these varieties in small quantities, which you should then try at home in peace ( always with your own machine ! ).
A roaster here, where I'm going, for example.b. a 4x250gr ( free choice from the program ) and 10x100gr tasting package ( all common varieties from the program ) in the offer.
And 2 more tips:
- times look at the roasters in the vicinity, whether the coffee seminars offer, this is really interesting and sometimes learns a lot about coffee cultivation, varieties, preparation and the differences. Cost depending on the volume so about 50,-/4h.
- the quality of a coffee increases with the price, for 6,-/kg you can not expect a good, pure coffee.
