The Krups of a customer came forever not out of the automatic cleaning, constantly new filling cycles. It was characteristic that the stamp of the brewing cylinder did not go all the way down, but only to the 2nd sealing ring, which remained visible. All the measures from the forums did nothing. Then two calls to the service center of Krups also without useful advice. Then last and successful measure: decalcification of the water flow meter, directly behind the connection of the water tank still before the pump. Disassembled and filled with liquid descaler and cleaned nozzle carefully with a wire. In the lower connection is a small nozzle with approx. 1mm diameter. It was calcified and so was the bearing of the turbine blade. After the installation the stamp of the brewing cylinder drove for the first time completely down, so that the upper edge of the stamp was visible only approx. 6-8mm. After that, the cycles with filling were over and the machine returned to normal operation. Presumably the filling time of the press cylinder is limited and within this period the microswitch on the side of the cylinder must signal that the lower position has been reached. If this message does not come, then the system assumes that air is contained and only runs filling cycles.
