My WMF 10 switches off when the milk foam function is activated (i.e. for cappuccino, latte macchioto or simple milk function). Milk foam runs for approx. 0.5 seconds, then the complete control panel flashes briefly and the machine switches off completely. The machine can then be switched on again immediately. Coffee and espresso production works fine.
Somebody can help me or maybe someone has a circuit diagram of the WMF 10.

Hello hartmut2704,

I have the same problem. Now I must decalcify and as soon as milk foam is in operation it switches off. Have you already solved a problem ?

I think it's a magnet pump only I can't find any spare parts in the net.

Since no one has registered on this machine for two years, no one will have any experience with this machine.
Mfg Chris

I've got the same problem taking
the device apart and measuring
it.

Hello Bernd,same problem. Did
you
locate
the error
?
Since there are different too runs for tea coffee etc., I think that it is because of the valve.
That switches
back and forth
.

Hello, Bernd,

Have you been able to locate the error?

Since there are different inlets for tea, coffee and milk froth unit, I suspect that it is at the valve switch.

Thank you and greetings Dundee

have the same problem
disassembling and measuring the device

Hello, Bernd
, did the
disassembling work work help.

I had

"solved"

the problem 10 months ago by descaling and patiently trying

.
Today - after not used for a long time - it appears again. The WMF 10 is (?) identical in construction with Petra KM45 ... maybe someone has
an idea?

my WMF 10 has also been switching off for years when tapping milk foam, as well as when descaling.
Unfortunately, the machine now thinks that descaling is not only desired but a necessity.
As a
result: not even
coffee is prepared any
more
.

I have now bought a second used WMF 10, connected the electronics of my machine to the other one and descaled it there. Then the electronics were installed in mine again and lo and behold, coffee

flows again.
So there can't be that many parts that are broken: the electronics on the control panel doesn't seem to be broken, the heating probably
isn't either.

Can somebody take a look at the small circuit board? What does it control? I guess the triacs are only for switching the

heater

on and off

?

The solenoid valve for the foam gets power for a fraction of a second at the beginning of the decalcification, switches and water flows. And then the machine switches off... apparently only discrete

components.

Thank you.

at least one note: the power supply board of the WMF 10 bears the following imprint: "KM45 MB".

Hello My WMF 10 also had the same problem with the shutdown at higher load.
I think that I have found the error tonight.
On the no power supply board had the capacitor C01 instead of 1µF only 200nF.
I replaced it and now the milk foam works again. I hope that this was not just a coincidence.

Hello all,
my Wmf 10 switches off again after a short heat up. After switching it on three times it then works and I can pull a coffee. After that the light cross stays red again and the machine switches off. I have decalcified the machine several times. Does anyone know the problem? Is the heating possibly defective? And if so, how do I disassemble the machine? Thank you very much and greetings, Connie
