Good morning from Neuss !

As a courtesy, I'd like to introduce myself before asking a question.

I am Thomas from Neuss, I am married and we have two little boys. I am active in the public service.

So... and now the question or my request:

We bought a JURA E8 fully automatic machine about 5 months ago. We are also very satisfied, there have been no problems so far.

We clean and maintain the machine very thoroughly and only use Jura products.

The day before yesterday the device was indicated that it needs to be cleaned. I have to say that we use the machines a lot, so we had to clean and descale them quite often.

I then started the cleaning program, threw the tablet in the back as instructed and let the program run. After about 20 minutes the program was over and I emptied the coffee grounds container. Sure, there was a lot of stuff in there.

And then I thought, what if the first time you clean it, not everything is clean. So I decided to repeat the program. So program as above .....

And even after the second time, a lot of stuff was still coming out.

Hm....... I then cleaned the machine 2 more times, i.e. I used up 4 tablets and only then was the remaining water in the coffee grounds container without any significant residue.

This means for me that the machine must still have been totally dirty after the last cleaning.

Would you do the cleaning cycle now e.g. once a week?

Grüsle

No. You don't need to. There is always something falling into the brewing group from the grinder because BG goes up and down.
