Hey,

Should you buy coffee beans rather expensive or are the cheaper ones, for example from Aldi, also okay? I need some advice, thanks again! smile.gif

Depends on the machine, the method of preparation, external circumstances (temperature, pressure, water quality, etc.). See if there's a small roaster near you, they usually have 250 gram packs. There's some trying. Some tastes brown and some like coffee. Maybe compare a friend with two machines. Once the cheap beans are in, recommend Tchibo Feine Milde, in the other good beans. With both Espresso with approx. 40 ml draw and taste without sugar or milk. Sipping air like wine. Afterwards you take the Tchibo only as a test coffee to empty it away. Also sniff at the beans beforehand. The difference is already enormous.

Answer quite clearly yes.

Merry Christmas, so there are fresh beans that still open the packs and do not taste at all, these are experience values of mine, these must still 24h. outgase.

The wide taste is a personal feeling and you must try yourself which bean tastes. As Kaffeepoint has already noted, water and lime content are also a criterion for KVA.

Coffee is a stimulant and that's how you should go about it.

Everyone has their own taste and the best thing is to try it out.
I'd like to see what the local trade is doing and what alternatives there are ( small private roasters ) and try it out for myself.

Hello,

look here in the forum under roasting plants, if you can find anything in your area.
( o.k.) which are sorted by name and not by city - doesn't make it any easier )

Würzburg is probably the next really big city, there are certainly some.

Ansonsten, some also send by parcel service smile.gif

- coffee world journey
- Espresso world journey
- drinking chocolate world journey

each 3 kinds in a beautiful wood box, which are from an Internet offerer, where I order coffee more often

I think you'd better invest a little more money.
Then you can sit back and enjoy your espresso.

I for my part attach great importance to my coffee.
So I wake up and start the day perfectly. But I didn't know the whole thing too well, so I got some information from the internet.

On (deleted) I searched for information about espresso for example.
So you can do it and see that you are looking for information about the beans.

I currently drink tomorrow before going to work on the fast a coffee with hand filter brewed.

Nehme dafür Tchibo Privat Kaffee - grinded, which I once found delicious.

Today I wondered how one can still call the stuff coffee. Compared to the good varieties from the local roaster there are worlds.
But that's a matter of taste.
I also brought a coffee mixture from the roaster that I absolutely didn't like, the same for an espresso mixture.

I can only say it again and again: try, try, try.

I like to invest a few euros more in good coffee. With such cheap coffees, the question is, of course, how old are these beans before they are bought? A freshly roasted bean also makes a good coffee. I have no experience with this, but I can say that we also have a fully automatic machine in the office, the beans are probably rather cheap and both the coffee and the espresso are inedible!

It sounds familiar to me, at my last AG we had KVA from WMF ( Gewerbemaschinen ) and coffee from Damayr - you only drink that if you can't get anything else.

In the canteen were KVA from WMF with more functions, they had coffee from Lavazaa - there were worlds between.

I always like it when I go to my favorite roaster and there I just roasted coffee fresh. The smell comes towards you already on the street and only pulls you in faster.

Just as an example:

Coffee for 10.- € the kilo there we subtract the 7% VAT and then the profit march from the dealer. Add 2,49 € coffee tax (yes there is one in Germany). Also away with it.

9.34 - 2.50 - 2.49 = 4.35 €

Now the cost of roasting and transportation. Let's assume 0,80 € and 0,50 € for the farmers.

4,35 - 0,80 - 0,50 = 2,05 €

Almost 2 € for that there can be no reasonable product.

Hey together,

I think it doesn't always have to be expensive. There are also coffee beans at a relatively low price, but they taste very good. I'm very vain about coffee and don't drink everything, but that certainly has nothing to do with the price. For Espresso, for example, I prefer the Lavazza Espresso Cremoso and you only get it for around 13 euros, which I really like and for me just the best espresso. https://bohnen-test.de/testberichte/die-bes...ressomaschinen/

Hello smile.gif

I have to be honest and say that it is best to pay a little more money than to have bad coffee.
I always buy the Melitta crown (classic).
The costs a little more and honestly it tastes best to me.

Sometimes I also look for different information online when it comes to coffee.
At https://www.kaffee-ratgeber.eu/ I also found a guidebook when it comes to coffee.
You can also look for very good information as a beginner.

How about you?

I also prefer to spend more money on coffee.
After a lot of tasting I ended up at Oromia. It is also fair traded, gently roasted and in organic quality. The 250g package costs approx. €5.49.
