Siemens EQ9 plus

Hello everyone,
I have since today a problem with my Siemens EQ9 plus.
When switching on the machine pulls all the water from the tank and this is output directly to the drip tray until it almost overflows.
The machine pumps and pumps but hangs somehow stuck. No water arrives at the normal output and only the start icon is visible on the screen.
So I can't even get into the normal menu anymore. Since I am a complete layman and have never opened the machine except for normal cleaning, I appreciate any ideas. Thank you very much.

Hello, does this KVA have a lime filter in the water tank? Remove and then try again.
Do not reinsert the filter. Set the water hardness in the program to the correct value, enquire at the responsible waterworks for the degree of hardness.

Hello, here I am again. Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem after all. The machine worked properly for exactly one pass and this morning the same error again. All the water is directed from the water tank directly into the drip tray.

Hello, that's not cool.
So what could be the cause?
1. First decalcify with decalcifier on amidosulfonic acid. Check the ingredients.
2: Flowmeter is not working properly. Remedy; open KVA. Instructions on WWW.
Clean flowmeter.
3. Flowmeter is defective and then order a new one.

Hello, after several attempts (switching on and off), the KVA started correctly once, so that I could get into the menu at all. I then immediately started the cleaning and descaling program and then inserted a new Brita filter.
After that, the KVA did its job without any problems.
