DeLonghi ETAM 29660 SB milk container malfunction

Good evening everyone,

I am new here and looking for advice regarding my fully automatic coffee machine. The problem is as follows: I put the milk container in the machine this is also recognized by a beep in my opinion. Then I press "Cappuccino" on the display is shown: "Turn milk foam regulator" (I assume from insert to desired amount) after this is done does NOTHING and the machine jumps back to the "my coffee" display. Hot water for tea comes out of the outlet.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem is? I bought the machine on Ebay from private the seller does not want to know about the malfunction....

Hello mapi90, it is quite possible that the steam loop is defective.
