ECAM 22.110.B Float/reed drive defective?

I have the following problem with my coffee machine:

Since a few days you had to push the water tank in again to turn off the corresponding lamp. Now it is so that it no longer goes out. I have tested with a reminder if the problem is the reed switch, the lamp does not go off. Do not reach the reed switch now, because the brewing group is down. Do not get it moved even in test mode. Could the problem be the brewing group drive? Can I remove it even if it is not in its basic position? I am very grateful for tips.

It may also be due to the microswitch for "Water tank present". This is located inside behind the water tank on top. You should check it first. You do not need to remove the brewing unit for this.
