how to clean the coffee machine

Hello, we have had a nivona caferomantica 646 for some time now. I try to clean the machine, I also follow the instructions exactly, but on the display appears another symbol as it should and nothing else goes. I need some help with that, please.

What are those symbols...? There should be no deviations, unless you do something different than described.
