Water tank problem DeLonghi Esam 3200

,we have the following problem:
The tank is filled, and the coffee also runs out properly.
Then - suddenly, during the coffee outlet - the outflow stops and dierote
water tank indicator lights up red, and signals "water tank empty"
.

But this is not the case......, if you pull the tank out and push it back in again,
the red water tank indicator goes out
.
Then it runs normal again for a short time, until the next stop.
We therefore suspect that there is a contact problem between the water tank and the appliance
.

Does the float in the water tank stay up when there is water in it? Or sinks the slowly down despite water?
