EAM 3500 - already decalcifying after one month ?

Hello,
we have had the DeLonghi EAM 3500 since the beginning of March and are really happy with it.
But the device just wanted to be decalcified blink.gif
I must confess that I failed to adjust the hardness of the water and then I noticed that it was set to 4 from the beginning.
I use filtered water, which has a hardness of about 2, depending on how long the filter has been in use (it is changed monthly).

The device reports "please decalcify" only depending on the set water hardness or it actually registers lime scale if it displays this message ?
Then it would surprise me why I should decalcify after not even a month of use despite filtered water...

The machine does not know that you are using filtered water because the setting is stored at 4. After a certain throughput quantity, which is fixed for each water hardness, the machine therefore prompts the user to descale. The best approach would be to decalcify and program damach water hardness 2. best regards

Thanks, of course I decalcified, I wanted to make sure that nothing bad happened to the machine. I have also changed the degree of hardness.

Now I have another problem again: the machine no longer carries out the automatic rinsing process when switching on and off. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to adjust this...

You can't set that, it happens automatically. Clearly rinsed you?
Otherwise a case for the De Longhi Hotline

Meanwhile it works again. I don't know why that was...
clear I rinsed. I followed the instructions exactly. The first two times when it was switched on and off, the device simply did not want to flush as usual, but heated up and was then ready for operation. Yesterday afternoon things just went exactly as they were supposed to.
