Dear Forum,
first a brief introduction, since I'm new to the forum - I'm Claus, 49 years old and live in NRW.

A few days ago I fulfilled a long-cherished desire and bought a Jura E6. Jura because we have such a device in the office and this us all for over 10 years with a complete maintenance in between very good services. According to the counter, the machine has 113,000 brews behind it, and the coffee still tastes good and is hot.

But this machine also runs all day - so it's always on and brews us about 3-4 coffees in an hour. So it is used to heavy work. My machine, on the other hand, is turned on once in the morning for my doppio and my wife's coffee, then we turn it off again. Then again for lunch and afternoon (home office). I was wondering if this frequent on and off is somehow more damaging to the brew group than continuous load operation... anyone have any experience?

Thank you and best regards

Claus
