Permanent error message

I have a Krups EA826E10 which permanently shows me an error message.

-I turn the power on

- Device preheats

- Will be set

- Empty both containers

- Clean protective compartment

- It is adjusted

And then it starts all over again.

The machine has served me well for about 5 years and two years ago I cleaned the machine thoroughly and replaced the piston seals.

I have opened the machine again now, it looked much cleaner than before, but I still cleaned everything thoroughly and replaced the seals again.

However, the error is still present.

I hope you can help me.

I had a similar problem with a 8010 machine. it turned out to be a small white microswitch that is under a silicone cover. this is held in place by some small plastic pins. the switch had become dislodged and was slightly loose. the machine was in a constant cycle of empty the grinds bin. I got tired of the game after a few hours so decided I should fix it ;-)
