Krups EA 9010 automatic maintenance hangs

Problem cannot be solved

Hello together,

we have the EA 9010 for half a year.

We are very satisfied with the machine. My wife likes the coffee with a very nice crema, I prefer the cappuccino with a nice milk froth.

For two days the crema has been wearing off and this afternoon I started the automatic cleaning with the cleaning tablet according to the instructions. Had already done this twice since the purchase and had no problems.

Today the automatic maintenance was switched on immediately after completion of the cleaning. After some time I noticed that when filling the machine with water, after half the process stops and the automatic maintenance restarts. After 4 runs I switched off the machine and pulled the plug before emptying the drip tray. Sometimes it helps. After about 1 hour I wanted to try it again, but the automatic maintenance is still hanging.

Had anyone ever had this problem? Maybe you can "reset".

If not, we have to spend the Sunday without coffee and call the hotline on Monday.

Thank you in advance for your tips!

Nice weekend Allen,
Timmermann

Moin.
Although it's already a few days old but since recently I'm getting more and more the message "automatic maintenance" with the gears in the display.
No idea what that can be?
I'll ask Krups directly rolleyes.gif

Hello,

have the same problem here.
The woman from the central customer service said that the device should be disconnected from the power supply for at least one hour (so that the electronics resetet) and then try again.

If there is nothing going on, take the part to the customer service.... ohmy.gif

And did it help to take the machine 1 hour off the power?

Have similar problem. Coffee powder flap does not open.

I have exactly the same problem. Of course, it came to 6 days after warranty expired. Only received a meaningless mail from Krupps with information on how to send in the device.

Hello,

I also have a problem with the Krups EA9010.
Yesterday the part still worked quite normally, but this morning after switching on comes the message "Do you want to start the automatic program now?" with two buttons Now and Later. But none of the buttons on the touch responds. Also switching off and restarting didn't help,
Does anyone know how to reset the machine?

Many greetings
Norman

Hi people,

We have the ea 9010 now a good 7 months, slowly I think the milk foam is dropping dramatically. In the beginning it always came up to the edge of the glass, but now it doesn't rise another centimetre, despite the longer foaming time. Still I noticed that it is constantly wet under the drip container, quasi between machine and worktop. Do any of you have similar problems and possibly a solution?

Thanks in advance MFG Maik

Hello together,

I still had warranty at that time and only the customer service (via sending it in via Saturn) had started the machine up again.

By sending it I now have scratches on the machine and two more exchanges of side walls and coffee container lids. I have done this myself, because every time 14 days without a coffee machine is already doof.

After I thought it now runs (even with all the maintenance/cleaning required), the milk foam leaves as described before mad.gif

Bin for some time on the web looking for a "foam pipe" or at least the lower black part with gasket, but unfortunately no. No spare part of this kind.

We'd love to bring the machine back, but Saturn won't do that (we have to give it to the customer service.... and they don't walk...).

Check if I can find something to get the milk foam back...

Hello,
our EA9010 is now about 4 years old and we have never had any major problems.
Leevishly she no longer pulls coffee powder anymore. When we turn on the machine, the milk is normally foamed and heated. The beans are ground at the same time. Then when the coffee's running, no coffee comes out. Has anyone ever had this problem, or does anyone happen to know how to fix it?

Hello,
We own the EA9010.
We have also often had the error message Code 13.
I noticed that the machine is not getting any water.
We always use the Originals water filters from Krups for the machine.
The problem with our machine is that the particle filter inside is dirty. To clean or replace it, the housing must be opened.
After that everything is fine with our machine again.

Hello,
I have just logged in to Ma to report my experience with this bug!
I had the same problem with my Krups9010 that it always got stuck when switching to automatic maintenance mode! At the end of the process, please call Technickhotline.
The water circuit is filled as well, then came every time!
After I had built them about 5 Ma completely outside, I cleaned all the hoses and reassembled them completely, all of a sudden for a short time!
And then I found the problem with me!
It's the water filter in the water tank! So the filter cartridge so to speak! which I always changed after opening the machine with!
This one pulls air somewhere because of the screwing in possibly somewhere what was damaged on the thread possibly (too tightly screwed on)
After I have screwed the filter cartridge out and the machine is switched on no automatic maintenance or the water circuit is no longer filled!
I have now ordered a new water tank to see if anything is damaged there and it was all the time!
would be great if someone had the same problem and tested it with removing the filter cartridge so you can really slide it onto the water tank!
parts number for a new water tank is MS-5a10165
I hope I could help many
Lg
Patrick
