Siemens EQ 9 S700 Connect Clean milk system

Good evening.

Got me an EQ9 S700 Connect today. I made myself a latte and wanted to clean the milk system manually. Unfortunately it does not work. I take the milk container out, rinse it out and plug it back in and it doesn't work. And I still have to plug it in even though it's in there.
