Hello everyone!

>I've had our cf 100 for over 10 years. Once again, the brewing unit "got stuck", I took it apart, cleaned it and installed it. I also cleaned the drainage valve. But when I now rinse, all the water doesn't flow into the brewing unit but outside. I've already taken the whole thing apart several times, but in my opinion I put it back together properly. What could be the problem? The brewing unit doesn't run very easily anymore, I can try to improve it by bending the corresponding parts, but I have no idea why the water just runs by, please give me some ideas!

thanks and glg

Try the outlet valve.

Do you mean the outlet from the drainage valve to the bottom brew piston? Or the entire drainage valve?

Kaffeeplanet mentioned the outlet valve, but I don't see any connection to your error description now...
Where exactly does the water pass "by", that can be located exactly; guessing the blue doesn't bring anything...

... the drip tray is opened accordingly, the microswitch on the right side is bridged and the coffee is rinsed or dispensed.

The brewing unit no longer runs quite easily

Hi,

due to the above statement, I still suspect mounting errors. Presumed lower or upper brewing flask mounted upside down.

Would check again.

Jürgen

Thanks for your suggestions - I only saw it today, ...

Last week I realized that I had installed the "gear drive", in which the lower brew piston is, 180 degrees wrong. Water is now running through the brewing unit, but it is still not running round. Remains in the position where the lower brewing flask max is pushed out to a little too far so that it can no longer be pushed through in the direction of the grinder. I dismantled the brewing unit several times, the only idea is to get a new set of gaskets, special for the brewing piston, or a new brewing unit or to separate myself from the machine after a total of 13 years wink.gif

Hello Eveline,

The brewing unit doesn't have to be new, a revised one is enough if you don't want to tinker anymore. wink.gif
