our Siemens EQ 500 Integral (bought 7-10 months ago) is already causing us problems. The device shows at every startup that the brewing unit has to be cleaned (of course we did this the first time). If you confirm this by holding the ok button for 3 seconds, it will show the normal "rinsing picture" on the screen. It obviously tries to flush, but only makes strange noises, sounds like something is stuck.
Afterwards it stops the rinsing process, but apparently it is working (but of course it doesn't make coffee). If you switch it off then it does not rinse either.
The next time the appliance is switched on, the brewing unit message appears again.
Ergo : I am sitting in my home office and have no coffee
. The market where we bought the machine is closed at the moment.
Anybody got any advice on what I can do?
