Hi,
had the problem today that the residual current circuit breaker was kicked out.
After we had disconnected all the devices in the house, we gradually re-connected them.
When we plugged in our fully automatic coffee machine, the residual current circuit breaker flew again.
Then took the machine to the dealer, he checked it again and FI flew again, and there was a ground fault!

He said the brewing unit was over and wants to send the machine in!
Maybe somebody knows how much fun it will cost us?

Have the machine since Nov.`11 and were not very satisfied from the beginning, because the machine was already sent in 3x, respectively the can function never worked correctly!
On request at AEG we were put off with faulty software and that this was not programmed for a correct can function yet, with the next call AEG did not know anything more about this problem, although it is in the Internet almost in every forum!

Who has or who is not. had a similar problem with the FI, respectively with the can function and can possibly help us?

Thanks in advance and greetings from Niederbayern

I have no idea about the can function.
You can change the thermoblock by yourself. Complete part approx. 100 Euro. A little more screws about 50 euros.
