Wet coffee grounds

We switched to a De'Longhi Magnifica Evo ECAM 292.81 six weeks ago.
There is a lot of water in the drip tray right from the start (it was different with our old De'Longhi) and the coffee grounds are extremely wet and the water stands in the coffee grounds container. The coffee runs quite slowly, so I wouldn't want to set the grind finer.are there any other solutions?
