Brewing unit does not move to initial position

I recently got a Melitta Caffeo Bistro.

Unfortunately, this is now causing problems.

The brewing unit does not always return to the initial position after preparation and then the four buttons in the front flash like a "running light" and nothing works - understandably.
The brewing unit can then also not be removed because something is inside so that it would hang on the panel.

If I then turn off the back with the main switch, wait a short time and switch on again, you can hear how the brewing unit moves to the initial position and you can make coffee again.

But this does not always happen
Sometimes everything works as it should...

Does anyone have an idea why it does this and how I can fix it?
