Hello,
have just had the problem with the constant error message "refill beans"
(Of course there are enough in it)

The grinder starts normally, but stops again after about 1 second sad.gif
When testing the system component for 5 seconds it grinds for 5 seconds,
why I would exclude a mechanical defect, unless there is a sensor
which reports coffee beans empty.
A factory reset did not work, it is the same error with all programs.
Here a selection of the values:

What can that only be? The device has never been disassembled...

Siemens is aware of this error, the grinders are replaced together with the entire electronic board in the event of a warranty claim..

As far as I know, there is no simple repair solution for this yet... perhaps set the grinder to fine or choose harder beans with a stronger roasting to put more strain on the grinder.
or remove the grinder and install a grinding resistance in the grinder, or degrease the screw in the drive motor of the grinder or similar.

In the grinder itself there is as much as I know no sensor installed, so the assumption that the beans are empty comes from the load to which the grinder is exposed... this is detected by the electronics. (Power consumption of the grinding mechanism under load).

The error appears to be there.

encountered this error....

try cracking or grinding the beans into smaller pieces using a food processor. seems the whole beans are not going into the coffee grinder, as intended. this fix has worked for me.
