Krups EA8000 messy coffee

Coffee grounds overflow

I have a EA8000 which leaves too much coffee grounds around the exit chute after grinding. It never used to be this bad but they are making a right mess inside the machine and seem to bake on to the red slide cleaner. Have cleaned the grinder and without stripping down too much the area around the chute but after a couple of uses it clogs up with coffee again. Anyone have anything similar and if so a solution?
