grind

Hello Quick Mill Experts,

can you clean the mill (the 05000A) without disassembling the machine? Gab´s there not even the tip with rice? Or should I take Kukident for the grinders???

Rice shall go !? (but never tried)
The removal of the upper ring is no witchcraft -
- bean container off -
- 1 screw and plastic cover
- then pull off the adjustment wheel -
- The shaft can either be removed by pushing the pin out - or. if that's not possible - you have to remove the front to remove the 2 screws of the bracket (I haven't found another way yet)
front (only if shaft doesn't go out differently) - is attached to 2 screws in front in BG - and screwed to the 4 from behind. Do not remove completely - just turn to the side - as the cables connect the front to the machine,
- Then you can unscrew the upper grinding disc ring - clean the mill.

- Should you already do once a year - otherwise the bean oil will stick the adjustment (thread).#

Question still - grinds your QM fine enough ? or - do you get 30 sec espresso ? - if no - only grinding degree limitation (1 screw) - just under the plastic cover - simply move - then you can grind finer!
(Often adjusted from factory - to coarse - no espresso possible)

You can use rice, but it is not the yellow of the egg, because rice residues can stick together the brewing group later. If you want to clean the grinder properly, you have to do it as described by mr.smith.

due to the tips from you experts I have already adjusted the mill accordingly.

I think then the complete cleaning is best.
