Hello,
I need the help of professionals: We took over a kitchen when we moved, where a Neff C77V60N2 fully automatic machine was installed, which has now served us well for a year without any problems.
Over the last few days I noticed that less and less coffee comes out of the machine. Today it was then so far that no more coffee runs into the cup but "fizzles".
After a bit of searching, I was able to determine that the coffee is leaking into the drip tray. First suspected a clog and therefore decalcified and cleaned twice. Nothing changes in the problem, but it disappeared with the first cleaning, reappeared with the second. Cleaning took place otherwise but also after request of the machine with original means. Water degree here is soft, machine set accordingly.
So I suspect a mechanical or electrical problem and not a clog.
After I was able to bypass the switch on the cover from the brewing unit, I was able to watch the machine work. Water comes out of "the rest of the machine" into the brewing unit, is pressed through the powder there and simply runs down the wall into the drip tray at the point where it is supposed to flow back "into the rest of the machine". I suspect here that the ceramic valve behind it is faulty, should my research so far be correct.
Sometimes there is also a short hiss as if an overpressure escapes. Probably because the ceramic valve locks and the coffee is then pressed out at the sealing ring between the return and brewing unit.
However, this is just a guess on my part. From fully automatic I have actually no idea. Therefore, I hope that I could get here from you professionals help, tips or confirmation of my guess.
Thank you for your time.
