Coffee powder remains in brewing unit

Hello,

I have the following problem with our Neff machine.
The coffee is ground, falls into the brewing unit and everything runs normally.
When the coffee is ready, the "used" coffee powder is not ejected from the brewing unit and remains in the container.
There is also no error message but the machine is ready for the next coffee.
If you then start the new process, the machine of course tries to fill the new ground coffee powder into the already full container and then to "compress".....then the brewing unit blocked at some point.
The removal of the brewing unit is then quite difficult because it is not in the basic position. Brewing unit cleaned several times, gaskets checked, all without success.
Currently, you have to get out the brewing unit after each coffee and remove the spent coffee powder manually.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Nico

So it is a built-in fully automatic Neff C15KS61N0

All parts are still present on the brewing unit.
The problem is the following, after the coffee has run through, the brewing unit goes back to its home position. The coffee grounds should be "released" and transported through the scraper handle into the collection container.
But the coffee grounds remain in the container or fall back into it and are not released.
As far as I can tell, everything on the brewing unit moves smoothly.
I have also run through the entire movement process manually in the dismantled state.
After the compressing process, the piston then moves back and the coffee grounds should hang on the top of the counterpart and in the next movement step comes this rubber plate with metal bracket that wipes off the coffee grounds.
But the coffee grounds do not "hang" on the counterpart but fall back with the downward piston movement of the brewing unit. Once it worked when driving through manually but that's it.
The brewing unit is cleaned regularly. (every 2-3weeks).
The machine is now 8 years old, it is a total of already the third brewing unit. Had the machine already several times apart because there were problems with the magnetic switch of the drip tray and other small things.
Just wanted to ask here before I order a new brewing unit and it is not because somewhere maybe something else is wrong in the process.

Hello, in this brewing unit are flags attached to the outer brewing cylinder that either due to age-related appearance and, or volatilization of plasticizers bend inward or break off.
Disassemble examine and if these flags are still attached with a Brüleebrenner slightly warm and carefully bend outward 3-4mm.
These flags prevent the sagging of the brewing piston immediately after the trip towards UT.

Hello Nico,

It seems that the problem is related to the ejection of the used coffee powder from the brewing unit. It is possible that the ejection mechanism is blocked or damaged, which prevents the coffee powder from coming out. You mentioned that the brewing unit has been cleaned several times, but it is possible that dirt or coffee residue has accumulated inside the unit, which could also be preventing the powder from being ejected.

I would suggest contacting Neff's service department for further assistance on how to resolve this issue. They may be able to give you advice on how to clean the scald unit or repair it if necessary. You can also check if the machine is still under warranty for a free repair.

Sincerely,
