Hello together,

I was more than satisfied with my machine (Delonghi EAM 3500 Magnifica Pronto Capucchino) for years, especially the milk foam was always great. After about 6 weeks without frothing milk, it doesn't work anymore. First came only a thin trickle of hot milk, but hardly any foam.
Now comes only hot steam. I cleaned all the seals (I read them here in the forum), but it only got worse. The milk foam container is almost clinically pure by now. I don't know what to do next!
Have any of you got another tip for a desperate milk coffee lover? :-)
I also wrote to Delonghi Customer Service several times, but they don't reply!

Many hopeful greetings!

Hello,

I recently had the same problem. Everything is cleaned and rinsed several times. Despite cold 1.5% milk, there is hardly any milk foam left. If there are any findings I would be grateful for an info. Thank youDeLonghi ESAM 6600

I would change the seals at the docking station!

gasket_set

Is self-explanatory, probably you only need 3 of the 4 gaskets.

There you go. The new gaskets are in. But it still doesn't work. A lot of steam paired with a gutter of hot milk.
I don't know how to go on, so drinking coffee is no fun! Does anyone else have a tip? sad.gif

It really leaves me no peace. I cleaned the two connecting pipes on the machine (above, left of the water tank). Or the one pipe that's uneter, that's bigger. There is a small hole in the front out and another hole downwards away, actually covered by a green sealing ring. There's just a plastic pin upstairs, I can't find a hole in it. Is that right?
Please - if you know something: get in touch. It's important to me!

If everything is correct, but the green seal, which covers the hole, was only used on the first EAMs, get it out.
If you had the same machine in your circle of acquaintances, you could act according to the exclusion procedure, e.g. changing milk containers.
Lay the lid of the milk container in cappuccino cream cleaner overnight.

Hello everybody, thank you very much for your tips! I am very happy, it works again. I have the best milk froth in the world. It was because the seals were on the wrong side. Together with the really excellent DeLonghi customer service it worked. I went through everything step by step with Mr. Johnson (from customer service) and then we found the error. Telephone number if anyone else has problems: 06182-92060.
Can you really only recommend the DeLonghi customer service. You should be aware that when you buy a waste incinerator.

Hello together,

so I've been hoaxing around with this problem for 2 months now, tried everything, bought new milk containers, cleaned.... then it went about 1 month super and now it's exactly like before...
It's desperate....

I haven't replaced any seals yet... the machine is now 2 years old...

Welcome if you can help me...

Dear greetings Simone

You have already given yourself the answer:
after 2 years it is certainly no mistake to change the seals

Hello,

I had exactly the same problem. Obviously I didn't put the gaskets on properly after cleaning. They were in the right place, but after I mounted them again, the foam is ok again.
So you should really consider the gaskets. Thanks for the tip. rolleyes.gif

It's all right, but the green seal covering the hole was only used on the first EAMs, so get it out.

Is that really so? My new "ESAM" 6600 bought in September also has a "green" seal "Charlie" LG "LG".
