Hello everyone, I have the following problem. My Delonghi Esam 3600 doesn't make milk foam or hot water anymore.
Heaters, pump are new, both thermocouples exchanged --> then everything worked for a short time (10 minutes) until the lower element broke again. The heater no longer heats up.
In test mode, the pump does not work (starts, but remains stuck). EV1+2 Test is partially negative, switch EV1 and EV2 alone. The machine, including the pump, runs perfectly in decalcifying mode.
I have the impression that the heating element gets too hot and the thermostat flies, probably because there is not enough water. Does anyone know the possible cause?

Hi,
I'm not an expert, but if you think that the thermostat is the thermo fuse it could be that the heating element is too hot and the machine does not work. Possible cause, too little flow through lime. Decalcifying it properly might solve this problem.

Hi, thanks for the info! We decalcified the machine several times (5-6 times). I have the same impression, I am missing a tip how I can check this.
I am about to replace the brine valve ... but I don't know if it's that. unsure.gif
