Filled the beanery in response to "Fill Beans". The Grinder spins but does not catch the beans. I emptied the beanery and at Jura's suggestion tried to force the beans down in the beanery. Not so easy to do with a safety guard. I am fairly handy and the machine is not a CAT-Scan. Has anyone tried to do this repair? The machine came back from repair in December for the same issue. Thanks

Remove guard screw.
Position guard vertically on its hinge.
Remove as many beans as u can.
Clean top of grinder with vacuum cleaner then blow intogrinder with compressed air (if u have it)
Set grinder to coarse & press go.... Worked for me!

Once you select coarse grind... Add say 40 beans or so & make coffee.
Go easy on putting the guard screw in as the guard will crack if u over tighten.
Good luck
PS If all else fails... Add correct amount of ground coffee to the ground coffee shute using the supplied measuring spoon and press the appropriate button to make that type of coffee..

From the manual.... "If you adjust the consistency of grind when the grinder is not operating, the grinder adjustment switch could be damaged. Only adjust the consistency of grind when the grinder is running"
Yikes!
