Hello dear forum community,

had an EAM 3400 standing here, after I had eliminated the leakiness at the bulb I fell on the quick steam element at the connection (screwing) always a drop
out.
So I loosened the union nut, but can't get the hose pulled out.
Question: do I have to loosen the lower hexagon as well? I tried it with pliers (the matching wrench is missing again of course;-)) but I can't really loosen it.
for now I'm tugging at it like a crazy idiot and what's wrong I'd rather ask you how I can fix the leak.

greetings Christian

Do not loosen the lower hexagon!

After you have removed the union nut, use a combination pliers to loosen the brass ring attached to the hose by carefully turning it back and forth from the lower part of the coupling.

Normally this is not necessary, it should be enough to tighten the union nut an eighth to a quarter turn.
