Hello,

had yesterday, after a long and extensive search on the net, put my EAM 3400 into operation. In the beginning a digital display was not so important to me, but after my first experiences I can only recommend a machine with display, the ease of use is noticeably higher (and not only the price).
Commissioning and configuration is not a problem. Only when I let out my first cup of espresso, I noticed that the cup size wasn't the right one yet...laugh but after I adjusted it (a piece of cake) this problem was solved and I could enjoy an excellent espresso.
In contrast to an EAM 3000, which I could have presented to a dealer, the 3400 is much more valuable, especially the push buttons on the front are much better and not so wobbly.

After my first impressions I am absolutely positive and hope that this will stay that way even after a long time.
I will play around with the grind and aroma settings until I have found the perfect setting for me.

This machine does not need to shy away from comparison with other fully automatic machines and offers an excellent price/performance ratio.

I will post my further experiences here!

Hi Markus
What did you actually pay for's part? It's not cheap over the Internet either. I'd like to know where you bought it and how much you spent.

Hi Galappo,

at the moment it will be cheaper for about 469,- € and that is worth it in any case, if you are looking for similar equipment from other manufacturers you will pay substantially more.
I bought it from a good friend and not on the Internet.

Hello,
I ordered the Delonghi 3400 after some research.
The price-performance ratio and the opinions I have read on the Internet
are very good.
I would have preferred to buy the Delonghi 3500, but it was too expensive for me.
I hope the frothing of the milk works well.
Maybe someone has already had experience with this.

Greetings

Hello,
I got the second DeLonghi 3400 on Saturday.
The first one was broken after the second cup of coffee.
I was able to find out
that the cheap offers on the Internet,
are mainly models coming from other European countries (Poland or Austria) and have only 2 years warranty.
With the 2nd machine I paid attention to
that in the tender on the Internet 3 years warranty
was given.
but of course it has become a bit more expensive.
Now it's the machine itself.
It makes a high-quality impression,
is easy to use, the coffee is very tasty
and where I originally had doubts,
also a great milk foam.
I am very happy with the DeLonghi 3400.
Greetings

Hello,
I have found that the button for large cups
does not store more than 200 ml of water.
Has anyone had the same experience with DeLonghi 3400?

Hello Lui,

ja, that's the same with me too. Measurement of the results showed this.

I only paid 727,00€ for my EAM 3500.

>BTW: why does a DeLonghi not need cleaning with coffee fat solvent tablets?

My Jura needs all 200 covers.

Is it possible to remove and clean the brewing group in the Jura?
This is very easy in the Delonghi. Perhaps the tablets are therefore not necessary.

Guten Rutsch und ein friedliches und gesundes 2006!
