Milk froth regulator defective De'Longhi ECAM 370.95.T

Hello,

I have owned a De'Longhi Dinamica Plus ECAM 370.95.T for a few days now.

Unfortunately, the milk foam controller is defective. When I want to prepare a drink with milk, the machine tells me to set the regulator to one of the 3 positions, which is the case. As soon as I turn the knob, the machine jumps out of the menu.

The only controller position that works and is recognized is the cleaning function (Milk Clean). Say: I cannot prepare a drink with milk.

When I remove the milk container from the machine and turn the knob, the position of the pin only changes with the Milk Clean function, not with the other 3 positions.

Now my real question: can anyone confirm that the pin would have to move outward or inward with any change in position (milk, weak foam, strong foam)?

If so, this would limit the source of error enormously and I would only have to exchange the milk container at the dealer or bring for repair and not the whole machine. There would still be the possibility that a sensor in the machine itself is defective.
