Hi, few weeks back our coffee maker started burning and smoking while heating up, we quickly turned it off and disassembled since it's not in warranty anymore (we had it for 3 years) and we needed to replace some parts. After ordering it from one local coffee maker repair shop which ordered it from KRUPS directly for us (we just did the repair ourselves), it says we need to call to maintenance service, so the machine somehow knows we changed few of it's inside parts, even though those were ordered directly and accordingly to the serial number of the machine from KRUPS, so those should be 100% correct brand new working parts. What I think is that there is some special service menu where you can diagnose, recalibrate or find more info about the problem. Can anyone help me out?
We changed brand new pressure cylinder and frother as it was suggested by the repair shop as well, we had like 7000 cycles in 3 years, it was pretty heavy usage I would say.
