Hello,

I have a Philips saeco 3200 machine.
Recently the red gasket (pictured below) broke.
I replaced it by buying a gasket kit on Amazon adapted to the machine.

Since then I find that the coffee often tastes bad after a few uses. When I open the perco group, it's very damp, and coffee residues remain on the tray that's supposed to drain it. It's the same on the metal part, with lots of little holes.

Is this normal? I suppose that if the coffee stays there and is mixed with the new ground coffee, this could cause the bad taste?

I thought that the new red gasket must not be exactly the right size, I added Teflon gasket underneath (in white) to reinforce the seal because I find that pressurization is too easy when I put the perco group block back together.
It doesn't make any difference. After cleaning the perco group and making my 1st coffee, everything is soaked inside.

Do you have any idea what the problem is?

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Kind regards
