Espresso not hot enough

My new Jura E6 works perfectly. However, I feel my espresso only lukewarm although the temperature control is on high. Coffee and cappuchino are hot without any problems. Is there any experience / advice on this?

Surely you have already preheated the cup?
Also helpful: push the coffee spout very close over the cup - sounds banal, but also makes a difference in terms of temperature.
