Hello, everybody,

I have just signed up, because I need your help and opinion.

My fully automatic coffee machine Cafe Bonitas "One-Touch" Kingstar, from 2016 is just 3 weeks out of the extended warranty and has been causing problems for about 1-2 weeks. I save myself the trouble of writing to the dealer for a goodwill repair, as I suspect that Tex-Force GmbH is insolvent. U.A. I have already read enough negative contributions and from unsuccessful contact attempts to the company and the online shop www.kaffeevollautomat-24.de does not show any article as available, just like another online shop of the GmbH (www.royal-markisen.de).

But it may be possible to repair the machine... unsure.gif

To the problem: It started about 1-2 weeks ago that the MWIP starts normally in the morning, but when I want to draw the next coffee 2-3 hours later, the machine starts grinding for a short time (1-2 seconds), stops the process and tries to brew coffee. Most of the time I then stop the process, the brewing unit then apparently does not return to the basic state. Then the menu icon turns red and when I press it, the display shows only "E3".

Then I always switched the appliance off and on again, and then I ground normally again, but only clear hot water came out and what was striking was that before and after that steam and hot water escaped from the spout. Sometimes there was a lot of ground coffee in the brewing unit, after I rinsed it off, the cookie was normally shaped and moist, but only hot water ran into the cup.

My initial assumption was that the grinder would be clogged, so I disassembled and cleaned the grinder yesterday, some deposits had already formed. Then at noon today, the same game again... After some back and forth I could persuade the machine to make me a coffee again, but who knows how long it will work...

Can anybody imagine what is going on under the fault pattern? What could be defective and are there spare parts for the machine? Note: I am confident that I can repair the machine, but I see it realistically, if the spare parts exceed a value of 100, - €, it is no longer worth it for a KVA worth 339, -.

But I'm not giving up hope completely, maybe it's a small cheap component for once...rolleyes.gif

Thank you very much for possible information and opinions
,Jörg

Hello,

It is important that the brewing unit transmits the correct position to the computer and runs smoothly.
At each start, the brewing unit moves to the home position, then runs through to the second stop and back again after the brewing operation. During the pressing and also otherwise a motor monitoring is active, if the current consumption is too high, the machine goes back and wants a new calibration of the coffee quantity. In my experience, the problem is often the sluggish pressing plant. The work has to slip. The lateral guides are already lubricated with handle spray grease and all seals are regularly made with Vasiline
.

If I were you, I'd leave the lid on and see what the pressing plant does. Then possibly disassemble the motor drive and check if individual teeth of the gear wheel are not sheared off. Under load, the machine skips until everything gets mixed up. The large gear wheel has two limit switches, both must switch off measurably. Important when assembling, that everything is in the basic position. Move through the pressing unit by hand and insert in the home position. Push the pressing cylinder all the way down. Check the thick seal on the press for damage, grease with silicone oil or vasiline. LG Maik
