Connection of grinder motor to machine

I have ordered a revised engine (Domel?)? Now I am wondering how to connect the cables? (see photo) Do I have to solder there or is there a trick?

A flat plug is inserted into the grinder. Is the counterpart of what you have in your hand I think it's 4.8mm wide. I'm not 100% sure about that. If I had to look in my crawlspace to see how wide they are.

Yeah, that's right. 4.8mm will do. I had another motor in there before (Johnson?) with flat plugs. I thought that if I buy a new motor that is compatible with my machine, then the connectors are the same. But I guess you can always expect a little tinkering?

Go to a Bosch service or car dealership of your choice. They should have that too.
