Buy espresso machine

I could already collect a lot of good advice here, Many thanks to the community!
A buddy of mine has on 24.1. birthday and likes to drink an espresso in between.
I've been thinking about giving him an espresso machine for his birthday. Now I've already babbled about a few stores like Kaufland, Media Markt and Saturn and still think it's not cheap. Do you think you can get just as good quality online and a little cheaper? I think such a higher quality brand would be better, don't you? I hope you can continue to put me aside and I can find a suitable gift.

Such an espresso machine is already a very expensive gift for a friend or buddy. He must be really close to your heart. Which I think is great.

Have you ever thought about giving him an espresso maker instead of a machine? In addition a few beautiful varieties of coffee beans and if all this is nicely packaged, he is certainly very happy about it!

He hasn't called in in three months.

An espresso machine (sieve carrier) stands or falls with the grinder. There are good mills from approx. 180 € upwards as always almost no limit. Also you need some accessories like tamper, tamper mat, knock-off container and above all good, freshly roasted coffee. The mark of 1000.- € is exceeded fast times.

If one considers however the longevity of such machines (30-40 years are not rarity) amortizes itself the purchase price very fast.
