A friendly hello to the community.
I have a De Longhi ESAM 3200. After the motherboard has said goodbye and I have replaced it, I could during a test run with the machine open a (albeit minimal) steam leakage in the boiler area (it was not exactly to see).
The whole thing while the brewing water was prepared. After the brewing was finished, no more steam came out.
My question to the specialists here: is this normal?

Hello,

the boiler/heater is in the back of the machine. The steam is probably from brewing the coffee. Since it is already normal that it steams.
Above in the area where the hose goes in are traces of lime. Was there ever a leak?
You can also open the door and see if there is water in the yellow cup. That should not be.

Thanks for the reply, just saw it today.
Water is nowhere, so far nothing was leaking, but I will monitor.
