Leak on the top of the heating element

Hello everyone,

I have recovered a Melitta Caffeo Solo that has a leak on the top of the heating body.
but despite dismantling and changing the seals the problem persists.

I see a small hole that should be to reduce the pressure once the coffee is served, but I do not see how it is supposed to be plugged during the service because I have a day between this hole and what I spot to be the 'plug'.

so I wonder if there is not a part missing.
