Jura Impressa Ultra shuts down after coffee is brewed

Hello,

I have a problem with my Jura Impressa Ultra.

It often happens that the machine just turns off by itself
. This always happens exactly when the coffee cup
is completely tapped. The machine just stops. When I switch it on again, it continues where it left off, it empties the coffee container into the marc and goes into standby mode. The coffee is great and also hot.
My first guess was that the brewing unit was running too slow
, so I took it apart, cleaned it and put it back in again.
But the symptom remains.

By the way, I have just noticed that the machine always switches off with a beep when the cleaning program is executed, when the user asks for the cleaning tablet
.

I also removed and cleaned the performance print.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be? It's funny that everything else works and that it always crashes at the same place, or?

Thanks a lot,

Sebastian

Hello Sebastian,

There are two possible causes: Contact problem between power and logic board. Here the contacts of the wide connector on both boards should be cleaned first.
If this does not improve the voltage regulator for the logic on the power board should be re-soldered.

Hello Hisholy,

>many thanks for your answer.

I took it to my chest and cleaned both cable ends. However, they were neither oxidized nor dusty.

The thing didn't do any good.

Now I'd like to try soldering them again.
Could you tell me which voltage regulators are?

I can't find my way around...

Is the power board that's accessible on the back?

Greß,

Sebastian

Hello Sebastian,

the voltage regulator is the component with the cooling shield. And yes, the power electronics is the circuit board on the back.

BTW: The "Sie-Form" is not common in the net. A simple "du" does's.

Hello Stefan,

I have now soldered all solder joints on the power electronics.
The problem remains :-(

As soon as the cleaning process requests the tablet, it runs out.

If I was sure that it is due to the power electronics, then I could buy a new one, but if it is not due to her I spent the money for free...

Do you know a way to test the board?

Greß,
Sebastian

If it was not the voltage regulator on the power print and also not the cable then unfortunately remains as cause the logic print - and then it becomes quite expensive...

Hi there,
I have a similar problem, the jura machine (Z9) just switches off on its own and it does not matter if after switch-off, while brewing or after some time.
I am not able to address the issue, but maybe you could help me. Many thanks
Bruno
