Hello coffee community,

like so many here in the forum, I need help.
I have owned a Schaerer Siena 2 for 6 years, which I received as a gift as a defective device. After thorough cleaning and replacement of all hoses and seals, the machine has been running smoothly ever since
.

Until yesterday out of the blue the error message "NTC steam" appeared in the display. So Google thrown in and looked what it can be. During the search I found out that you can deactivate the steam boiler via software. Unfortunately I didn't find

any further information.

Can anyone help me here in the forum? I don't need the steam droning and therefore it would be great if the error can simply be "switched off"

.
Many thanks already

and then what? At the latest with the next decalcification there will be an end to fun. Why don't you change the temp. feeler? Costs with Conrad approx. 3.- € ne hour work and everything runs again.

Many for your help, I have the same problem with my Sienna2, (NTC steam)

But, while checking the brewed group, I noticed that
there is a huge amount of ground coffee (dry powder)
underneath the grinder up to
the extraction of the brew group. How can this
happen?

Thanks in advance for the answer and

help.

Greetings Balu Sienna2

Hi schaerer fanalso if
the schaerer ntc steam boiler indicates error , then the ntc is defective .
This is for sale as a revision set with a clear manual included .
Little someone who is handy, this is to do.
Steam boiler is only with a software tool to disable,
which is only available to mechanics,
