What do you think of the listed machine?

Does anyone know if there are identical / similar machines?

Is anyone experienced with this machine?

I can't decide between DeLonghi's entry-level machines and
the Unold machine.

Thanks for your feedback

although I use no Delonghi my recommendation goes nevertheless completely clearly to this.

Grund: Bekanntheitsgrad and market meaning, innovations coffee automats this manufacturer.

In addition the construction units are zigtausendfach tested and the spare part supply are secured on a long-term basis (over many years).

Who can say this about Unold without wanting to devalue the manufacturer generally?

The stove is of course also built by Eugster. That's just the supposed lack of experience.... and at DeLonghi I'd rather see the core competence in humidifiers as well... fashionable bells and whistles.

Thanks for the info's

>The Unold doesn't have to be bad but I will probably decide for the DeLonghi
(ESAM 4200). The many positive ratings and the really widespread spare parts are decisive.

Bin new in this forum and more than surprised what there is so on this topic.

There technology fans can make a real hobby out of it. I actually after browsing in the forum already feel like getting me an old sweetheart to buy at auction and tinker myself times with my son. At least in winter an alternative to motorcycles.

The oven is also built by Eugster.

This thread is a bit older, but I just saw it. However, I cannot leave this statement for future interested parties, because the "oven" is of course not built by Eugster. Unold clearly shows a removable brew group from Saeco.

Can anyone else say something about Unold's VAs? Useful for "normal" claims, so pure for drinking coffee without frills or rather of the quality Flopp?

I came across the 28815, as this is just offered for 199 €. The DL 3000B is an alternative at 280 €. Per day the machine is supposed to be used for 3 - 5 cups of coffee.

Many thanks for your answers smile.gif

Hello Flirti,

where did you see the Unold for 199 €?

For a few months the machine ran quite well at 12 to 15 cups per day.

Unfortunately the surface changes in sunlight. A beautiful non-slip surface with a good grip turns into a clumsy, ugly one. After the free replacement of the device by the manufacturer without any problems, the same thing happened again after a few months.

Leider, my model now also has a clogged line, which I can't get access to. Too bad, because the coffee was tasty, the handling easy and the differentiated adjustment possibilities also positive.

We have now granted ourselves a UNOLD for Christmas, which is mainly used
for preparing espresso. After approx. 1 year research we have weighed up all our wishes and non-wishes as follows:
- mainly espresso preparation
- for filter coffee freaks (mostly visit) the filter machine is still used
- demonstration of automatic milk foam and suction systems not convincing
- therefore we continue to make milk foam in proven quality manually
- coffee powder processing not desired (see if necessary).o. with filter machine)
- Screen carrier machine was option, but suitable mill not found / expensive
- Purchase price in relation to performance
- Easy to clean and low-maintenance
- Attractive design
- Internal water filter not necessary, but purchased, but also for other purposes
Our first conclusion after just under a week and approx. 100 References:
- very tasty espresso/capuccino so far with beans from discounter
- uncomplicated cleaning
- uncomplicated operation partly self-explanatory
- all important parameters are individually adjustable
- Although everything works well, I had some technical questions and a lack of clarity
when studying the operating instructions, so that I used the hotline:
- simple menu-guided navigation at UNOLD
- all technicians were talking to each other, then aut. to the head office
- the head office immediately connected me to a released technician
- all questions were answered competently, friendly and comprehensibly
- unsolicited a care tip was given to me
Although we can not serve yet with long-term experiences, the
initial experiences with the machine and the company UNOLD are to be seen as throughout
positive - we hope it remains so. VG Micha
