"Gaggia Titanium"

Dear Coffee Community,
In our shop we have a "Gaggia Titanium" whose grinder is probably partially defective. The machine grinds the coffee, but then does not throw it into the collection container, but it remains stuck at the top. If you now want to make new coffee again, the ground coffee goes back over the already ground coffee... and so on. Logically, the coffee that comes out is disgustingly thin.
Can someone please help me?

Look at the brew group, is the pomace valve still there or gone?

Does anyone have any idea what's the matter? Now the lift is unfortunately quite high up. Is there any way to adjust the lift manually (downwards)?
