Hello everybody!

A little over two years ago we bought a Krups EA80 (type plate says: EA801S70/70G) and were always quite satisfied with the coffee.
Recently the machine started to leak and I first looked around Google and YouTube.

As a result I ordered a complete set of gaskets, including an illustrated manual. So machine disassembled, interior cleaned, everything greased and the seals of hydraulics, brewing group and water tank renewed. Machine reassembled and expectantly connected.

And now comes my problem: Immediately after connecting to the mains, all lights light up red. I can press what I want, nothing changes.
On the suspicion that during assembly what went wrong, disassembled again, cable and plug checked for proper installation and good fit, reassembled. Same image: all lights dauerrot.

I've been searching the net for hours now, but can't find a solution.

Maybe someone can help me here!

Did you take any pictures during the disassembly? Especially from the board ?
The boiler is connected with a red and a blue cable. Which color on which plug is noted on the board. Another cable goes from one cable lug to the switch of the cleaning compartment.

Hello,

and thank you for your reply.
Yes, I documented the disassembling of the machine with the camera. The cable connections during assembly were made exactly as they were before disassembly. But since there are always errors creeping in, I have in the meantime certainly three or four times opened the machine again and checked the wiring. And always with the same result: Everything connected correctly and all connections are stuck where they belong.

With my old Saeco Vienna I never had such problems after the maintenance work.

Maybe still an idea?

In the next hours I will work on an identical model of Rowenta.
If I notice something I will contact you back.
To date I have repaired an 8255 without any problems.

I have now dismantled a machine into all individual parts. Disassembled means in this case, all plastic parts have been in the dishwasher.
When disassembling the device, I paid attention to possible mistakes that could be made during disassembly.
The only thing I noticed were the limit switches.
If the piston seal ring of the pomace punch has been replaced, the switch may be in the wrong position due to incorrect assembly and trigger an error.
As written, - may be.
The switch triggered by the pomace punch must be closed in its initial position. Can be tested with a continuity tester. The cables are white and black and can be tapped off at a plug on the circuit board.
One last possibility could be to plug a connector 180 degrees rotated onto a socket strip, e.g. at the flowmeter.
More does not occur to me.
Many success at checking it out.

Just one question: are the signal lamps lit or flashing ?

The indicators light up permanently as soon as I plug in the power plug; without pressing any button...
I haven't looked after the machine yet because I had night shifts. I'm off until Wednesday and I'll try it again.
