Hi, I got an Impressa S9, everything's fine. Only the coffee runs very slowly. I have another F50 that can make two cups of coffee in the same time. I think the TB's calcified or may be due to something else? S9 already has about 40000 coffee purchases behind it! If it is TB worth it to revise or better to buy new?

There is nothing to revise at TB. The first step, of course, is to decalcify thoroughly. And exclude that the grinding degree is too fine and clog the brewing sieve.

Now I have decalcified for approx. 2 hours and changed the grinding degree, coffee is running a bit faster now, will decalcify again in a few days and see if it gets better or if it gets new TB. Thank you for your answer!

If the TB heats up and isn't clogged, you don't have to change it. For too slow water flow other components are possible, have a look at the water flow chart of the S9 ...

Good morning,
the brewing sieve in the brewing unit also clog easily if the coffee is ground too finely.

I have already cleaned the brew strainer, cleaned the outlet valve today - nevertheless it still runs slowly, even if I turn the knob to get hot water, it also runs slowly and looks like air is being sucked in - you can see air bubbles in the hose. TB still seems to be fine because coffee and hot water are really hot.

If the pump draws air, replace the inner distributor sleeve and check whether the small sieve in the tank holder is clean...

You don't have to open the machine to do that - but I thought you already had it open and are looking for bugs??? blink.gif

Yes, I screwed them back together until seals came! But the side where the water tank is wasn't open yet! biggrin.gif

So, I replaced the inner distributor sleeve today - nothing has changed. When I draw hot water, it comes slowly and with lots of air, from time to time only drips, I don't know how it should be! But is that perhaps normal and it must be so?

Tomorrow!
Now I have again some time to wait machine. Still haven't found why water or coffee is running slow! Here's a bit of what I meant:
