Hello, I have the same problem, how did it turn out with you?

in addition: I let the grinder run in test mode, it was not noticeable.

I signed up for this place.

Status Quo: now it's working again! my conclusion after reading many forums, cleaning the brewing unit and checking the functionality of the single components via self-test:-
the error occurred after using preground coffee for a longer period of time, some of them by mistake without switching
to "preground". -

there seems to be a self-calibration in the SW regarding the amount of powder when compressing in the brewing unit

by means of current measurement. - I

have

emptied

the bean container

completely -

then I made 10-15 empty purchases of single and double coffee, the grinder ran for about 2 seconds with single and 5 seconds

with double coffee -

then I filled in beans, the grinder running time has

been extended again -

I think it needs some more purchases until the calibration

is correct again.
Until
then

Hi guys! So? How we fix the grinding problem that it grinds only 2 seconds? I have the same problem! Everything works fine but the 1 cup coffee option! When I try to do 2 cups at once, it grinds as it should. I tried the grinder in safe mode and works just fine. Please help!

Worked for me as well. I needed to purchase more than 15 empty coffees and the purchased with coffee beans and slowly, with every new coffee I made, I grinded longer and longer. Thank you!!

I am having the same problem but selecting a single cup 15 times in a row with no beans present has not fixed it.

When selecting espresso coffee, the grinder grinds for only 2 seconds regardless of the strength selected. For me, this started after using preground coffee for a couple of weeks. This seems to be the default behaviour when preground is present/has been added but a ground coffee option has been selected.

Because of this, I am assuming that there is a sensor somewhere that detects the presence of coffee in the infuser. Unfortunately I cannot see anything electrical near the infuser that could be any kind of sensor. I have not taken the back and sides off - just opened the door behind the water tank and removed the infuser. I have also cleaned everything within easy reach.

Does anyone have any ideas or experience that could help solve this issue?

Thanks
