Milk foam problem

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I have been having problems with my coffee machine for a few weeks. I have a Delonghi ESAM 5708 Perfecta at home in use. This has stopped a few weeks ago to foam the milk, it came only hot steam, so I have changed the front connector or the clutch. After the change it worked maybe 4 days and then I was back to the same problem.

Now I have turned to a specialist who told me if the milk is no longer foams and sucked so this is usually the 3 way solenoid valve that should be replaced. So I ordered the part and exchanged the old one for the new one.

And now nothing works, I can not even run hot water.

I'm asking for your assistance.

Where did you buy the valve? All the dealers have only the plastic versions.
If it was pre-assembled with the raccords it will be right. You can not really see in the picture.


Whether it is really because of the valve that you have no milk foam I'm not so sure anyway. You have written that steam has come with the old valve.

I do not know the machine from the operation. Has a newer display. Are these push buttons or sensor buttons?
