JURA ENA 5 - Check drain valve motor

Posted by: worliplug April 07, 2021 08:30 am

Hello

My JURA ENA 5 can no longer be switched on permanently.

The display only lights up briefly for the duration of the button press, at the same time you hear a brief noise from the drain valve motor (I probably murdered it mechanically).

Since a new motor is not really a bargain, I :mellow:would like to test the old one when installed and would need the following information.

1. type of motor? (DC stepper motor / brushless DC motor / AC motor / or?
)2. Operating voltage?
3. assignment of the 4 connection lines (sw, gn, rt, bl)

I don't think it's the motor. You can just disconnect it. That's not why the engine's stopping. It must be something else. E.g. transformer or control.

That's not why the machine goes out.

Thanks for the super quick reply.

However, it could be that if this motor is not working properly (whether broken, jammed, or disconnected), the machine will turn off.

Regardless of actual fault, I'm still looking for more specific information about this engine.
