Undefinable noise

Our machine, purchased in August 2022, has been making a noise for about 3 months that I don't think should be there. It sounds as if a seal is grinding (something like this: üüüp biggrin.gif ). De Longhi customer service thinks this is a normal noise. Reading the error memory did not reveal an error.
It almost always occurs when the machine is started from stand-by, but occasionally also but the 2nd or 3rd cup. Can I attach a video or audio file here?
